The short-term joint staff training "Youth in support of green growth and people with disabilities" was held in Skopje, North Macedonia, from 21-25.11.2022.

The training aimed to support the development of educational materials and tools for young people with disabilities and to educate young people about the needs of individuals with disabilities.

Each organization was represented by 4 young people who support and work with individuals with disabilities and are interested in the development of green growth culture.

The training enabled representatives from partner organizations to become familiar with the methods and basic knowledge related to green growth and the practical implementation of this knowledge. As part of the training activity, the young people were trained to understand the needs of their peers with disabilities, provide personal assistance, organize materials, and offer online support for the learning process.

A part of this training included practical work and sharing best practices among participants from different countries on the topics of green growth and culture. LLN organized a visit to special schools and relevant institutions for children with visual, intellectual, and hearing impairments in Skopje.

Project partners gathered valuable data from participants by offering feedback on best practices and research conducted by the consortium.

The activity allowed the project partners to verify the material produced by directly involving the beneficiaries to use their knowledge and collect feedback on the project results, and indirectly to include other interested parties.

After the training, the participants will be able to explore examples of green growth in their country; to develop content available for people with disabilities, such as those related to visual, hearing, and intellectual impairments, and to build a culture around green growth.

The training activity and the subsequent activities are one of the best ways to disseminate the project's activities and results.
