Description
Vertical farming is a method of growing vegetables and fruits in vertical spaces, such as buildings. This method has several advantages, such as:
- It is more efficient in terms of space utilization. A vertical farm can produce the same amount of food in a much smaller area than a traditional farm.
- It is more resistant to climate change. Vertical farming is not affected by temperature changes or weather conditions.
- It is more sustainable. Vertical farming uses less water and energy compared to traditional farming.
This is what the Ecowork+ project is all about—sustainability and much more.
This project is co-financed by the European Union.
