Description
The association "Udhëtim i Lirë - Liberi di Viaggiare" conducted during August local trainings with marginalized women. These trainings were held by girls and women trained as trainers during the first phase of the project "The Invisible ForeWomen". The trainings took place in rural areas where women are not empowered and need capacity building.
During the 5 days of training the trainers addressed the topics that are included in the toolkit published within the project such as: knowledge of business, technological transformation vs economic empowerment of women, development of key skills for women's empowerment, personal skills and "soft”, etc. From the topics addressed, marginalized women and girls were encouraged to take local initiatives where they supported each other for personal and professional development.
The project "The Invisible Fore Women" is supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation and co-financed by the European Union and implemented by the association "Udhëtim i Lirë - Liberi di Viaggiare" and its partners: URI-MENA from Jordan, Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo Mesto ( DRPDNM) from Slovenia, Tokat Economic Development and Vocational Training Association (TEKMED) from Turkey and Have a Dream from Egypt.
