In the framework of Europe Week, the volunteers of the association "Udhëtim i Lirë - Liberi di Viaggiare" and young activists welcomed in the Cape of Rodon the EU Ambassador Mr. Luigi Soreca and Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Albania Mr. Momtchill Raytchevski.

During the meeting Miranda Mansaku, Executive Director of the Association, showed the work that Udhëtim i Lirë has developed over the years in the field of environment in the city of Durres. During the discussion, the young activists of the association discussed with the ambassadors about the support provided by the European Union through various programs in Durrës.

Volunteers: Ava, Genta and Elda share with the ambassadors personal experiences as beneficiaries of international programs funded by the EU for young people.

The meeting took place after the action "Beach Clean Up" that the Delegation of the European Union in Albania has taken in the framework of Europe Weeks 2021. The young people also discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Albania, Mr. Momtchill Raytchevski on the possibility of continuing the project "Composting on farm for mitigation of climate change" based on the results of the first project.
