The Association "Udhëtim i Lirë - Liberi di Viaggiare" held a meeting with the writer Loer Kume, winner of the award "Kadare" 2019. During the meeting Kume told about his coexistence between two professions: writer and dentist. How each of them affects each other and how the balance between the two professions is established. An important part of the meeting Kume paid attention to the importance of effective writing and use of time. I motivate young people to write and participate in the literary competition "Book of Karantina", in which he is also a member of the jury. Eglantina Gollaj, project manager for the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans (ReLOaD), also attended the meeting.
The meeting was organized in the framework of the Youth Guide for Durres project and the Mobile Library activity, which is supported by the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans (ReLOaD), funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Program for Development (UNDP) in partnership with the Municipality of Durrës.
It was also seen by some as a good example of success. This is due to the fact that he manages to manage the day very well and find time for his two professions that require a continuous job. During the meeting, Kume shared with young people, as is customary in the meetings of the "Mobile Library", the Albanian and world works that should be read during this period. You can find some of them in our mobile library. For more information about the meeting or activities contact us at our official addresses.
