The Association "Udhëtim i Lirë - Liberi di Viaggiare" held today the meeting "Durres and its Heritage". This meeting was organized in the framework of the International Day of Monuments and Sites, April 18, and following the guide published by UiL - LdV for the project "Youth Guide for Durres". This project is supported by the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans (ReLOaD), funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with the Municipality of Durrës.

Dr. Lorenc Agalliu shared valuable information with the participants which were related to the topic "Culture and Common Heritage", which is also the theme of this year for the day of Monuments and Sites.

The main source for the development of this meeting was the guide "Durrës and its Heritage", published in January. The young people who contributed to the publication of the guide felt appreciated and made the conversation easier. Meanwhile, promotional sports were used for the city of Durrës to see more concretely and illustrate the sites and monuments in Durrës, unable to physically visit them. The promotional spots of the city of Durrës, prepared by the young people trained for Multimedia within the same project, have been republished in recent days on the social networks of the association "Udhëtim i Lirë - Liberi di Viaggiare".
