Description

The International Day of Monuments this year took place in a different and original way. The young people of the "Udhëtim i Lirë" association, together with young people from France, participating in an Erasmus + youth exchange, created gifts with different materials such as wood, plaster, clay, plastic bottle caps, etc. They created cultural, archaeological and historical monuments in a creative and youthful way, being even more environmentally friendly through recyclable materials. In the end, they gave each other souvenirs as a sign of friendship and a symbolic memory. This activity was organized within the "Creative Culture - Based Development of Durrës Heritage" initiative, within the EU4Culture project, financed by the EU, implemented by UNOPS, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture of Albania.
