Description

The Udhëtimi i Lirë – Liberi di Viaggare association opens a call for participants in the Youth Exchange "Democracy Paradoxes", organized by the Amicus Certus association. The project will take place from August 14 to 22, 2022, in Palanga, Lithuania.

The project focuses on exploring youth-led democratic movements around the world, youth organizations, and their impact on democratic movements, the values of the EU, the need for young people to support democracy, and the potential consequences if this is not done. The project partners come from 6 countries: Lithuania, Albania, Italy, France, Bulgaria, and Slovakia, who share a common vision to contribute to the development of more open and democratic societies.

During this youth exchange, the partners aim to:

• Raise awareness and increase youth participation in democratic life by promoting European values and active participation.
• Discuss traditional or alternative forms of democracy, improving knowledge about European citizenship and democratic movements.
• Encourage youth interest in democracy.
