As part of the Green Up! Project, which is funded by Erasmus + EU, the Association "Udhëtim i Lirë – Liberi di Viaggiare" participated in an ongoing youth exchange with 5 young people selected from the city of Durres.
During this 8-day exchange, young people from 6 countries around the world—Albania, Italy, Serbia, Georgia, Tunisia, and Poland—conducted workshops and eco-friendly activities. Our youth conducted the "Best Bag Idea" session, which consisted of creating 4 bags using recyclable materials. These bags had to be: durable (sustainable), cool (attractive), and, most importantly, made from easily available recyclable materials found at home.
The "Permaculture" session caught the attention and impressed the young participants, so they decided to share the new experience with their peers in Albania. It will be mainly the youth of Durres gymnasium who will be informed and aware of the importance of Permaculture and Composting. "Green Up!" Activities continue!
